The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
